Chathub App · chathubapp.com · Last updated 2026-07-21

This page answers common questions from users in India about how Chathub App handles personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP). It summarizes our full Privacy Policy §10.8 — that page is the complete legal text if the two ever differ.

Your rights as an Indian user

Under DPDP 2023, you have the right to:

What data we collect

We collect only what's needed to run and secure Chathub App: the profile information you provide, chat metadata used for AI moderation and safety enforcement, device and diagnostic data for reliability, and payment details handled by our payment processors — we never see or store your full card or UPI credentials ourselves. The complete, itemized list is in the Privacy Policy.

Where your data is processed

Chathub App runs on Firebase and AWS infrastructure. These providers store and process data on servers located in multiple countries, including the United States. By using Chathub App, you consent to this cross-border transfer and processing, consistent with DPDP 2023.

How to request deletion

  1. In-app: open Settings and choose the account deletion option, or use the Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.
  2. By email: write to support@chathubapp.com if you'd rather request deletion directly.
  3. What happens next: your account and associated personal data are deleted, subject to any legal retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy (for example, safety records tied to an active moderation report).
