Online Safety Guide

Chathub App · chathubapp.com · Last updated 2026-07-21

The short version: never share money, passwords, or identifying details with someone you just met. Trust your instincts, and use Block and Report the moment something feels wrong — they work instantly, no waiting.

Before you start chatting

What to never share

Reading the warning signs

Common patterns worth ending a conversation over:

How Chathub App protects you automatically

AI Image Moderation

Every photo is scanned by AI before it reaches you. Explicit content, violence, weapons, and hate symbols are blocked automatically.

Real-Time Text Moderation

Profanity and abusive language are filtered as you type. Flagged messages stay hidden behind a warning label until you choose to view them.

Automatic Enforcement

Users reported by 3 or more people are automatically restricted with escalating bans — no manual review delay needed for the ban itself to take effect.

App-Wide Blocking

Block someone once and they disappear from your entire app — the online list, chat list, and every other screen. They cannot contact you again.

How to block or report someone

  1. Tap the flag or menu icon in the chat, call, or profile screen.
  2. Choose Block, Report, or both. Reporting lets you pick a category — sexual content, violence, hateful content, harmful behavior, child safety, copyright, or spam.
  3. The person is instantly hidden from your app, and our moderation team reviews the report — typically within 24 hours.

If you're ever in danger

If you feel unsafe or believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Chathub App's reporting tools are for platform safety and moderation, not a substitute for emergency response.
